Thursday, 6:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary
This will be the last service with the prayer stations we’ve used throughout Lent. We will put a special focus on sharing the Last Supper.
Friday, 6:30 p.m. in the Rose Garden
Join us as we walk with Jesus through the last day of his human life. We will walk the “Way of the Cross,” similar to the more familiar Stations of the Cross. As long as weather will permit, we’ll start in the Rose Garden and work our way around the east and south sides of the church and finish our 14 stations on the west side.
If weather doesn’t allow, we’ll move it to Fellowship Hall.
Sunday, 6:45 a.m. at Independence Park
We’ll gather at the river as the sun rises to celebrate theSon rise in this early Easter worship led by the MWAW group. Right now the forecast looks dry, but cold; dress warmly Coffee, juice, and doughnuts will be available.
Soup and Sermon
Today and next Wednesday at noon are the last chances to enjoy good soup, great fellowship, and an inspiring sermon from one of our local pastors.
Today, First Christian Church is making soup (that smells wonderful) and Rev. Paul Kelley will bring us the message.
If you can take an hour out of your busy day, we promise to have you out before 1 p.m.
I hope you’ll join me for as many of these special Holy Week services as you can. I know you will be blessed by the time spent in worship with brothers and sisters in Christ.
Have a great rest of the week, and I’ll see you on Thursday in the Sanctuary, and on Friday in the Garden.
