Eastertide invites us to dare to dance with hope, justice and love

It’s a season for dancing! We have weathered the pandemic, UMC affiliation discussions and now we dance into new life with our risen Christ Jesus, Lord of the Dance. Rain is life providing, so we don’t simply wait for the storm to pass we dance in the rain, celebrating new life now. Come join the dance.

Sunday, April 30 we welcome new members to the Atchison United Methodist Church family
Eastertide dares us to dance in the rain, with expectant hope for the growth to come. Jesus, the Lord of the Dance leads us into new life post pandemic and UMC strife. We are partners with each other and our community in downtown Atchison participating in the dance to bring justice and hope to through the love of Christ.
10:45am Sunday Faith Formation: Adults: Disciples Bible Study meets in the library, “The More of Less” meets in 1st level classroom. HS/MS Students meet on the 2nd floor next to Sanctuary
The only thing better than a happy dance of a job well done, is one fueled by cake!
There are no orphans in God’s family, as we are all connected in Christ. Therefore on this day, we celebrate the Christian home and all who nurture others. A sweet gift for all who attend.
