Soup’s On! – Soup and Sermon 2.0
The long time Lenten tradition is having a new season! Join the community for a power lunch September-February on the second Wednesday of the month at noon-1pm. Enjoy a bowl of soup, a message and music from one of many local churches. A free will offering benefits Hunger Task Force, an ecumenical effort to support local families.
About us – our historic mission
Atchison United Methodist Church is in the heart of our community at the corner of 5th and Kansas in Atchison. The first Christian worship in our historic town, we’ve been here since the 1840’s and have grown with it to our current location since 1916. We are a multigenerational church family engaged with our community in our mission to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. Here in Atchison we do that by gathering on Sunday for God centered worship, and through our daily lives of Nurturing, Educating, Welcoming and Serving, so that all may the know the Good N.E.W.S. of Jesus Christ.
